To apply for space in the incubator, first determine if you meet our core requirements and then fill out and submit your application below. Please note the following important points:
- The North Woodard Tech Incubator may select applicants for inclusion in the program in its sole discretion and may refuse any applicant for any reason.
- Information that you provide to the North Woodward Tech Incubator is not treated confidentially. Do not provide any information that you view as confidential.
Core Requirements
- Companies must be less than one year old
- Operations must be substantially in Michigan
- Founders must be at least 21 years of age with a college degree
- No more than 4 founders
- Companies and founders must agree to Terms of Service
- Incubator has right to invest in future financings
Selection Process
- Applications reviewed by screening committee (10 days)
- If recommended by screening committee, personal interviews with board of directors (10 days)
- Due diligence process (10 days)
Criteria for Selection
- Experience and background of founders
- Sound business plan
- Likelihood of success
- Suitability of business for Incubator
- Focus on high technology, life sciences, e-commerce, energy, defense or automotive
